Zwaag

Wim Zwaag (1960), is a Dutch composer who has a wide range of compositions reaching from violin concertos to symphonies, songs and piano-solo works (as well as piano concerto's). Wim has a style which can be called post-romanticism in which the tonal structure of the Romantic era is adjusted with the harmonic influences of the 20th and 21st century.

During recent years, Wim Zwaag has developed his personal, non-dual approach towards music in which a convention free way of music-making is being promoted. Next to composing Wim Zwaag made it his aim to promote musicians to think out of the box through his Buddhistic and non-dual approach. He gives many international workshops and has gotten much acclaim for his approach. The workshops names are called "making music within Freedom".

Next to the works that we mentioned above, Wim wrote 3 pieces for violin and piano as well as a 2 major Violin Sonatas, composed in 2015 and 2020.
